We are so pleased to share with you guys we will be interviewing Motion City Soundtrack this year at SXSW 2012.
Motion City Soundtrack formed in 1997 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and have released 4 full length studio albums, with the 5th one said to be released sometime in June of 2012.
These guys are so cool and make some amazing music, (we give them our Southern Crux stamp of approval!!!) Every time we’ve seen them in the past, they never fail to perform and rock out and we just can’t wait to talk with them and give y’all an exclusive interview with Motion City Soundtrack! Motion City Soundtrack and I Fight Dragons will be performing at the SXSW Power Up! Party on March 11 at SXSW’s ScreenBurn Arcade at the West Canopy at Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. The show is a partnership between Alternative Press and GREE. The party is 21+ and for registrants/badge holders only, but GREE and AP will be making a limited amount of free tickets available to the general public on March 10 and 11 at the ScreenBurn Arcade.
Also,
Catch them at the Purevolume House Friday, March 16th. The show will be from 12am-3am and is 21+, RSVP.
